Two years after the Winter Olympics 2014,  Sochi is getting ready to host one of the most significant international events in alpine sport.   Olympic venue “Rosa Khutor” ski resort will welcome  the FIS Alpine World Junior Ski Championships on  24th of  February – 6th of March 2016.  

Athletes from more than 45 countries will come to Sochi to reveal the winner in 6 alpine disciplines, including National Team Event, which gains more popularity every season. 

The Organizers of the event have been working together for the rest 5 years, obtaining experience at the Europa Cup, World Cup and Olympic Games preparation and organization. During this period “Rosa Khutor”  ski resort turned into one of the most prestigious resorts  in Russian Federation, offering advanced technology, ski courses designed by the globe’s leading experts, and the highest service and safety standards. At the same time “Rosa Khutor” became a traditional venue for numerous Russian and international sports events.

For Russian organizers FIS Alpine World Junior Ski Championships is also a great possibility to use the Olympic heritage.  Thousands of tourists will come to “Rosa Khutor” these days to watch the event and enjoy the best athletes performance.
